It was a travel weekend for the Cougars D5 team – off to St Louis we went. Stopped as a group for dinner before our fist game for some team building. I’m sure this helped us have a successful trip.
Game 1 was a hard fought one with the game tied at zero with less than 2 minutes left on the clock. Unfortunately the Cougars just couldn’t hang on and lost 1 – Zip.
Game 2 was bright and early but that didn’t slow down the Cougars who came away with the 3 zip win!. Congrats to Laura on her first league game goal, to Sophie who tallied two assists, and to Shannon who also had a helper. Almost hats off to Nichole for getting two in the net.
